What can KoboPartner do?

Some models of Kobo e-readers cannot download ebooks directly from the internet.  They require downloading the ebook to a PC or phone first, and then transferring it to the Kobo e-reader via a USB cable. KoboPartner provides a feature that allows the Kobo reader to connect wirelessly to an Android phone, enabling wireless download of EPUB ebooks from the phone to the Kobo reader, eliminating the need for a USB cable.

What network environment does KoboPartner require?

The Kobo reader and the Android phone must be on the same local network, and the network must allow devices to access each other. Using the Android phone's hotspot function also works.

How to use KoboPartner?

First, please refer to the list of EPUB resource websites in various languages ​​provided at the end of this article. Download the EPUB ebook files to your Android phone from these websites.

Then, open the KoboPartner app on your phone, tap "Select EPUB," and select the EPUB file you just downloaded from your file manager. This adds the selected EPUB file to the library.

Third, tap "Start Server."

Fourth, tap "Next." This will take you to the next page, which will display a URL. Open this URL in the browser on your Kobo reader. The displayed list will show the EPUB ebooks you added to the library. This allows you to wirelessly download EPUB files from your phone to your Kobo reader.
